OUR SHIPPING PROMISE
Place your order online before 2pm GMT and we will despatch your item same day**. Orders placed after 2pm will be despatched the day after.
** In Stock items
If you order a wood coating paint to a specific retail colour this may have to be colour matched and to get this accurate we may have to ship the day after ordering.
You will get a despatch confirmation email when your order leaves the warehouse.
SHIPPING TYPES
Mainland UK
Delivery is usually next day to all UK mainland. This only applies to all items marked `In Stock` on our website. If there is any delay you will be informed by email. If an item is not in stock in our main warehouse we will do all we can to get this to you as soon as possible. If the order is placed over the weekend or on a public holiday we will process and dispatch the order on the next working day.
Deliveries To Highlands, Islands And Offshore UK
Deliveries are within 2 to 3 working days.

Important information regarding Paint & Solvent Deliveries
All paint and solvent products above 5 Litre in size are packed on to pallets due to the legislation involved in transporting solvents. The delivery costs for a pallet are higher than parcel deliveries and this is shown at the checkout.
Missing / Damaged Items & Proof of Delivery
The Ultrimax goal is to always deliver on time and in full for every order. If however you find an item missing or damaged please contact Ultrimax via our sales channels within 48 hours from delivery. Notifications for Items damaged or missing after this time period will not be accepted.
Ultrimax can also provide you with a POD (Proof of Delivery) for your order if required, please contact us within 14 days from point of order to arrange this. Requests after this time period cannot be accepted and the customer will be liable for the delivery.

Why use Ultriprime Etch - Single Pack Etch Primer?
Ultriprime Etch is a single pack PVB etch primer that is formulated with zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigments to protect aluminium and galvanised steel from harsh elements. It is high build and one coat with no webbing, Ultriprime etch offers great usage and value for money. A single pack etch primer has the activating acid already combined with the paint, thus eliminating the need to add a hardener to the paint for it to cure. Therefore, using a single pack etch primer reduces cost and reduces the time needed to mix and prepare the etch primer.
Ultriprime Etch also can be overcoated with most types of paint finishes, meaning you can paint your substrate to any RAL or BS colour to match your client's needs or your brand colours.
Etch primers like Ultriprime Etch also have very good weather resistance and heat resistance, ensuring the substrate that has been painted will last an extremely long time.
What is an Etch Primer?
An etch primer is a primer that physically bonds to the substrate when applied. This happens when an acid in the paint microscopically etches onto the surface of the substrate, thus forming a physical and chemical bond.

Orders which are placed before 2pm are dispatched the same day (Monday-Friday). Some products do have a longer lead time, this will be stated on products when adding to cart. For any questions regarding delivery please contact our customers support team.

If you find you do need to return an item, we will accept returns up to 14 days after the day of delivery. The product should be returned to us unused and including the original packaging. We will inspect the item upon its return.
