Our expert paint technician does a drawdown of each paint and stores all the relevant information on our system. Therefore, if you require the same colour again we can easily mix you another batch.

A colour match is usually ready in 24 hours if we have the according colour swatch or sample. If we do not have the sample, or if samples are sent by post pleasecontact usfor more information.

The colour matching system works to a tolerance of Delta E 0.3, meaning it will be very close to a perfect match.

We use both, for lighter colours we use a white base for a better coverage and a sensible match. We use a clear base for darker colours so less pigments are needed and the match is much more quicker and efficient.

We are able to match to any retail colour. If we do not have the colour chip in our range, then we would need to order this or alternatively please send the colour chip to either our Doncater HQ or Antrim Depot.

Yes, here at Ultrimax we can match to any colour, our state of the art software gives us the possibilities to do this.

For best results we need a colour chip with is at least one inch square, this allows our spectrometer to read the colour chip properly.

We have a range of different paints which can be tinted, these include water-based paints (Sayerlack Water Based Topcoat Matt - At9915), polyurethane paints (Sayerlack 2Pk Polyurethane Topcoat Matt - TZ99) , acid catalysed (Colormax Acid Catalysed Topcoat C/W Hardener)
and pre catalysed paints (Colormax Pre Catalysed Wood Topcoat).
