OUR SHIPPING PROMISE
Place your order online before 2pm GMT and we will despatch your item same day**. Orders placed after 2pm will be despatched the day after.

If you order a wood coating paint to a specific retail colour this may have to be colour matched and to get this accurate we may have to ship the day after ordering.
You will get a despatch confirmation email when your order leaves the warehouse.
SHIPPING TYPES
Mainland UK
Delivery is usually next day to all UK mainland. This only applies to all items marked `In Stock` on our website. If there is any delay you will be informed by email. If an item is not in stock in our main warehouse we will do all we can to get this to you as soon as possible. If the order is placed over the weekend or on a public holiday we will process and dispatch the order on the next working day.
Deliveries To Highlands, Islands And Offshore UK
Deliveries are within 2 to 3 working days.

Important information regarding Paint & Solvent Deliveries
All paint and solvent products above 5 Litre in size are packed on to pallets due to the legislation involved in transporting solvents. The delivery costs for a pallet are higher than parcel deliveries and this is shown at the checkout.
Missing / Damaged Items & Proof of Delivery
The Ultrimax goal is to always deliver on time and in full for every order. If however you find an item missing or damaged please contact Ultrimax via our sales channels within 48 hours from delivery. Notifications for Items damaged or missing after this time period will not be accepted.
Ultrimax can also provide you with a POD (Proof of Delivery) for your order if required, please contact us within 14 days from point of order to arrange this. Requests after this time period cannot be accepted and the customer will be liable for the delivery.

Aquimax Metal Primer is the metal surface covering of choice for tens of thousands of professionals all over the UK. Its unique formula is designed to not only provide a smooth surface that is ready for painting, but to also protect the metal underneath from rust when exposed to the elements outdoors. Unlike inferior primers on the market, it dries quickly and will be ready for another layer of primer or paint within just 24 hours.
Water Based Primer With Excellent Adhesion
Provided that your metal is completely free of grease and dirt, it will give you excellent adhesion, and to improve this further it is a good idea to smooth the surface by removing any areas of rust, dried paint and other debris - a dust mask should be worn if any of the dried paint that you are removing contains lead.
For the application itself, the liquid is suitable for both conventional and airless spraying, along with regular brushing and rolling. To get the best possible results when you apply the primer, it is recommended to make sure that the surface temperature is between 15°C and 20°C.
In order to thin the primer, you will normally need to add a further 10% of the liquid's volume in water - this will depend upon the exact nature of the application.
The synthetic resin has been specially developed to create a hard, durable under coat, and for added convenience Aquimax Metal Primer is available in black, grey, red and white. Aquimax Metal Primer comes in a 5l tin, and for even better value for money why not pick up a 20l container? As a rule of thumb, for every 10 square meters of surface you will need around one litre of the primer, and a second coat before adding further paint will resist oxidation damage outdoors.
In situations where you need to get the job done as quickly as possible, this primer responds incredibly well to an ambient flow of air passed across the surface. Other inferior primers may react to these working conditions by cracking, but Aquimax remains in perfect condition.

If you find you do need to return an item, we will accept returns up to 14 days after the day of delivery. The product should be returned to us unused and including the original packaging. We will inspect the item upon its return.
